| Meet Ms. Parker |
 A Certified Professional Résumé Writer (CPRW) and Certified Employment Interview Professional (CEIP) with experience both as an Employment Service Specialist, and Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialist; as well as a retired U.S. Army First Sergeant with over 23 years of experience in promoting personal and professional development. It wasn’t long after I began my transition from military service that I identified a specific need of professionals transitioning from government service occupations into the civilian labor market. I have to tell you, the transition was a formidable challenge. Facing those challenges during my own transition prompted a personal pursuit of an avenue which would assist others in accomplishing their career goals. Providing a solid foundation would ultimately empower job seekers to successfully address change and the challenges faced in today’s labor market. My services are tailored to provide clients with the resources needed to succeed when considering advancement in their current career field, or even pursue a career change. Extensive research of the job market, networking, continued education, utilization of resources, and the unwavering support of family, friends, clients and colleagues has proven to be a valuable asset. Enough cannot be said for Customer Service, a one-on-one approach in providing assistance to my clients and a tailored approach to individual needs. It is difficult to locate the perfect job, much less portray our individual needs to a service provider, especially when most of the assets available are so impersonal. Rarely can we expect to contact a representative of most any organization in person. Think about it. The majority of service providers to include answering services, résumé services, and job search engines employ a strategy of no personal contact. This leaves each of us and even the most seasoned professional feeling less confident as we struggle to select and submit the right response, phrase, or compilation of words which will result in a positive response to our efforts. My goal is to help reduce and eliminate the feeling of despair that the job seeker encounters when tackling today’s labor market. I promise a sincere approach to providing you the Customer Service you are seeking, and a one-on-one approach to addressing your needs.
